Week 3

In week 3, we were given our first batch of supplies and by batch, we mean a single bottle of Elmer's Carpenter wood glue. This and cardboard are all we need for the project because we are looking to make a bike that would be cheap enough for even those who are economically challenged.
Now we had our glue, we needed to get our cardboard.

With the prompt of  Katie Jo Sunday (TA) a member of the team went with her on a rather interesting dumpster dive / scavenger hunt for cardboard, while the rest stayed back and continued the frame design process . First we went to the Drexel One plaza in search of a particular office we had been told to come to, for cardboard. Unfortunately, we couldn't find this particular office and ended up in the depths of Main. After rounding up some cardboard, Shaolin and Marcel thought to reach out to warehouses and to plan a trip so we could perhaps get some honeycomb cardboard, which would do a lot in adding strength to our design.
